About The Position

The Vice President of Project Management provides executive leadership for the organization’s project management function, with full ownership of developing high-performing project managers, implementing best-in-class project management practices, and driving efficient, profitable project outcomes. This role establishes standards, measures performance through key metrics, and ensures consistent delivery across all projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, including people leadership.
Strong financial, operational, and analytical skills with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and the ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, building a strong, accountable project management team.
Establish, standardize, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Provide executive oversight of project planning, execution, quality, risk, schedule, and scope.
Oversee project estimation, resource planning, and budget management.
Develop, track, and analyze project management metrics including schedule adherence, utilization, profitability, margins, and client satisfaction.
Drive continuous improvement through data-driven performance reviews and quality assurance processes.
Serve as a senior client partner, ensuring alignment with client needs and identifying growth and add-on opportunities.
Lead and support proposal development, project scoping, and executive presentations.
Ensure accurate documentation, drawings, specifications, and compliance with company standards.
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
