About The Position

FIS is a global financial technology company serving banks, financial institutions, and businesses. Its fraud and financial crimes capabilities protect customer accounts, institutions, and the financial system. FIS is investing in proprietary fraud signals, next-generation machine learning models, and AI-driven detection capabilities to build a differentiated fraud intelligence platform. The VP, Product owns the product roadmap and strategy for FIS’s Enterprise Fraud & Financial Crimes portfolio. Reporting to the SVP of Fraud & Financial Crimes, this leader manages a senior product organization with product managers leading teams across the portfolio. The role requires experience building and running product at a fraud or financial crimes company and the ability to bring a technically differentiated product approach to a large financial technology platform. The role spans the full fraud and financial crimes stack, including transaction monitoring, authentication, identity, AML, and financial crimes. It involves close partnership with Data & AI product leads, engineering, data science, compliance, operations, commercial teams, and clients to develop scalable products and deliver measurable business and client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Have owned a product roadmap at a fraud technology company, fintech, or financial institution where product was a core discipline, and have shipped fraud products.
  • Have deep transaction monitoring expertise, including rules engines, behavioral signals, and machine-learning-based detection across cards and money movement.
  • Have led the product side of building proprietary fraud detection models and signals, including defining relevant data and signals, partnering with data science to develop and productionize models, and creating differentiated client capabilities.
  • Understand the broader fraud and financial crimes stack, including end-customer authentication, identity, AML, and how these capabilities fit into an enterprise-grade platform.
  • Have technical fluency to engage in architecture discussions, challenge technical tradeoffs, and drive roadmaps alongside engineering and data science.
  • Have managed technical teams and held them accountable for delivery.
  • Understand how to build products for large, complex enterprise clients and how product decisions translate into revenue, adoption, and client value.
  • Demonstrate executive presence and credibility with client C-suite stakeholders and across a large, matrixed organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a head of product or equivalent at a fraud technology company or fraud-focused fintech.
  • Experience leading fraud product at a financial institution or large payments company with direct ownership of the product roadmap.
  • Familiarity with integrated fraud and AML transaction monitoring platforms.
  • Experience building or scaling AI-, ML-, or rules-based fraud detection products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Enterprise Fraud & Financial Crimes portfolio.
  • Set product strategy across the full breadth of the portfolio, not only transaction monitoring.
  • Partner with Data & AI product leads to define and drive the roadmap for proprietary fraud models, signals, and intelligence capabilities.
  • Lead a senior product management organization across multiple product lines, providing ownership, strategic direction, and career development.
  • Drive enterprise architecture and product strategy so the platform scales for financial institutions of every size and supports diverse client needs while maintaining a coherent long-term vision.
  • Engage directly with clients, from global banks to community institutions, to validate priorities, understand needs, and incorporate outside-in perspectives into the roadmap.
  • Align engineering, data science, compliance, operations, and commercial teams to deliver coordinated product outcomes.
  • Connect product decisions to client adoption, revenue growth, fraud detection effectiveness, false-positive reduction, and measurable client outcomes.
