The VP ambulatory services & clinical service lines is responsible for leading enterprise growth, strategic direction, operational excellence and quality outcomes across select priority clinical service lines and ambulatory services. The role serves as a key member of the physician-nursing-administrative leadership triad, that together ensures successful execution of initiatives to achieve sustained growth and quality for the organization. This position is a consummate relationship builder and communicator and is responsible for alignment within the triad on strategic direction of service lines under the purview of this role and consensus of shared work within the enterprise priority service lines. Specifically, the VP role identifies strategic growth opportunities, defines annual operating plan and ensures successful execution across all initiatives. This position is also responsible for preparing, implementing and achieving strategic plans for priority clinical service lines to achieve sustainable, profitable market share growth and support excellence across all domains of clinical quality. Additionally, the VP ambulatory and clinical service lines is accountable for the strategic and operational success of all services of the Ambulatory Division and, in partnership with the clinical chiefs, ensures delivery of the highest quality care across the six domains of safety, effectiveness, experience, equity, timeliness and efficiency. System ambulatory services are inclusive of hospital and community-based clinics and operate within the Children's Health Network. This position reports to the SVP, Clinical Service Lines & Chief Ambulatory Officer, works collaboratively with the Chief Nursing and Financial Officers, and partners across divisions with VP colleagues to deliver on the vision of the organization.
