About The Position

The VP of Supply Chain/Transportation leads the strategy and operations of Pattern’s global supply chain and transportation function across North America, EMEA, and APAC. The role owns inbound freight, outbound freight, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) shipping, and develops cross-border supply chain capabilities to support existing and new businesses. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lehi, Utah. The VP sets global strategy in line with company growth, leads regional teams, oversees freight and D2C operations, builds import and export flows and freight consolidation capabilities, and manages relationships with carriers, marketplaces, and logistics partners. The role owns transportation budgets and performance tracking, works with warehousing and inventory management leaders, and provides clear recommendations and updates to executive leadership. The position reports to the executive leading Pattern’s core operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. It offers significant scope to shape global goods movement and build capabilities for new lines of business, with regular executive exposure and involvement in strategic decisions.

Requirements

Experience at Director or VP level leading transportation as a senior leader.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles and strategy, including cross-border supply chains, import and export, and consolidation.
Experience leading global teams across multiple regions.
A record of broadening supply chain from a narrow functional focus to a business-oriented role.
Results-focused, proactive, and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly with executives.

Experience at a marketplace, large retailer, or ecommerce fulfillment company where supply chain is central to the business.
Experience or side projects related to data and analytics.

Responsibilities

Set global supply chain and transportation strategy in line with company growth, including new markets and business models.
Lead teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC, with each team operating in its own market.
Oversee inbound freight, outbound freight to marketplaces, and D2C operations in every region.
Build cross-border supply chains, including import and export flows, freight consolidation, and port operations.
Manage relationships with carriers, marketplaces, and logistics partners, including Amazon.
Own transportation budgets and spend, and use data to track cost and service performance.
Partner with warehousing and inventory management leaders to move goods among Pattern locations.
Investigate problems, simplify complex issues, and present clear recommendations to executive leadership.
Establish clearer regional transportation performance reporting and identify priorities for cross-border supply chains and consolidation.
Present a global supply chain and transportation strategy with a roadmap, required regional team structure, and measures of progress.
