About The Position

Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Slot Department for both ACCRS, ACCPS and ACCCC. This includes developing Slot gaming procedures, monitoring staff performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies, and reviewing daily maintenance and revenue reports. The role also involves overseeing the installation, removal, and movement of all Slot machines, managing the Slot budget, and providing excellent guest service. The VP of Slots manages subordinate managers and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • 5 or more years of casino-related experience and/or training in slot operations; or a combination of education and experience in electronics and management skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the overall performance of the Slot Department.
  • Develop Slot gaming procedures in conjunction with the General Manager and Marketing Personnel.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
  • Recommend revisions and/or additions to policies and procedures to improve Slot operations.
  • Review daily maintenance reports to ensure slots are in proper working order.
  • Review daily and monthly reports on Slot revenues, expenditures, and staffing.
  • Monitor required maintenance on Slot machines, including changing components and programming.
  • Oversee the initial installation, removal, and movement of all Slot machines.
  • Maintain open communication and meet regularly with the General Manager.
  • Monitor the Slot budget on a monthly basis.
  • Provide running change for guests.
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and all Tribal Regulations.
  • Manage subordinate managers who supervise employees in the Slot Department.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
