Based out of our USA office in Lower Manhattan, this is the senior-most sales leadership role for Myprotein in North America. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Sales owns the full North America sales strategy and P&L across every channel, from retail and grocery to club, specialty and online marketplaces. This is a pivotal moment for the brand as it transforms from a DTC business into a true omnichannel player. We have already secured major listings with some of the largest retailers in the US and intend to expand across all major channels in the short to mid term. We are looking for a leader who can set the strategy, build the team and the structure to deliver it, and then drive flawless execution at pace. This role is an equal mix of board-level strategy and hands-on commercial leadership. The initial focus is the US market, with expansion into Canada & LATAM to follow proven results.

Requirements

  • 12 to 15 years or more in sales and commercial leadership, including leading teams at scale
  • Experience in sports nutrition, CPG or consumer health is strongly advantageous
  • Proven track record building omnichannel from a DTC base, or scaling retail distribution from the ground up
  • Established senior relationships across grocery, mass, club and speciality retailers
  • Has owned a sales P&L and a trade investment budget
  • An expert presenter who can influence external buying teams and demonstrate incrementality
  • A builder. Comfortable creating structure where none exists and moving at pace with incomplete information
  • Located in or able to relocate to New York, with the right to work in the USA

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the North America sales strategy and revenue plan across all channels
  • Build, structure and scale the US sales organisation; recruit, coach and lead a high-performing team
  • Own the customer P&L and the total level of trade investment across the portfolio
  • Lead the most strategic retailer relationships at senior buying and leadership level
  • Drive the shift from DTC to omnichannel; prioritise the channels and accounts that build sustainable share
  • Set the joint business planning framework, trade terms and investment governance
  • Partner with brand, category, marketing, supply chain and finance to align commercial plans and launches
  • Manage in-month performance versus forecast and hold accruals and pricing discipline across the portfolio
  • Build the talent pipeline and succession plan for the sales function
  • Report sales performance and strategy to US leadership and Group
