About The Position

Ziosk is seeking a highly experienced VP of Product to lead its multi-product organization. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, the VP of Product will run the product organization day to day, translate business signals into a clear, current roadmap, and lead Product Managers across Ziosk’s hardware, software, cloud-based, and AI-driven solutions. The role provides Product Managers with structure, coaching, and decisions to support effective delivery. The VP of Product will establish product operating processes and tools, manage intake and prioritization through launch, coordinate cross-functional work, and keep executive leadership informed about product delivery and its connection to commercialization. The role is onsite in Plano, Texas, and requires the ability to commute there daily.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of product management experience.
  • Experience leading five or more Product Managers, directly or indirectly, through a recurring roadmap and prioritization cadence.
  • Track record of coaching Product Managers and improving the quality of their work.
  • Ability to balance a stable roadmap with a structured intake process for new requests and distinguish planned work from ad hoc reprioritization.
  • Hands-on command of Jira and Confluence structure, including projects, components, labels, and spaces, beyond everyday use.
  • Strong executive communication, judgment about what to escalate, and ability to say no with clear reasons.
  • Experience in restaurant technology, hospitality technology, or a comparable multi-stakeholder B2B2C environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to commute daily to Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Product Managers who serve as the single point of contact for their product areas, setting a high bar for product thinking and creating clear growth paths.
  • Own the process from request intake through launch, ensuring requests are captured, routed, and answered with a clear decision.
  • Run the monthly roadmap cadence by gathering input from Product Managers, identifying cross-product prioritization needs, and keeping the roadmap current.
  • Make day-to-day prioritization decisions, align the roadmap with company strategy, and explain tradeoffs.
  • Build the operating rhythm and tooling—including Jira, Confluence, templates, and triage criteria—that helps Product Managers raise the right issues at the right time.
  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Support leaders to turn customer and market input into committed work.
  • Keep executive leadership informed about what is shipping, what is next, and why, and connect the roadmap to Ziosk’s commercialization efforts.
