About The Position

As VP of Operations, you will lead the scaling of Joyous’s clinical infrastructure, transitioning a distributed team of 65+ providers to a W-2 model within a new Professional Corporation. You will oversee clinical excellence, multi-state regulatory compliance, and pharmacy partnerships while leveraging AI to optimize care for over 85,000 patients nationwide.

Requirements

• 10+ years of healthcare operations leadership with direct experience managing clinical teams and establishing/managing a Professional Corporation (PC) model.
• Deep expertise in DEA regulations, HIPAA, and multi-state telehealth licensing, specifically within mental health or controlled substance protocols.
• Tech-forward mindset with a clear vision for how AI and automation can reduce administrative burden and enhance the delivery of psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Professional Corporation (PC), including HR, payroll, and multi-state compliance for a growing team of RNs, NPs, and MDs.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain and pharmacy relationships, ensuring medication quality and timely delivery while negotiating SLAs with compounding partners.
• Define and monitor data-driven clinical KPIs, using metrics to optimize provider productivity, patient satisfaction scores, and treatment outcomes at scale.
