VP of Marketing

Veridian Service Partners•Dallas, TX
•Onsite

About The Position

The Vice President of Marketing owns Veridian’s demand engine: the cost effective lead flow our brands need to hit sales targets in every market we operate, at a cost per lead and cost per sold job that protects our unit economics. The VP leads the Directors of Brand, Performance Marketing, and Local Market Growth, and owns the full marketing budget, consumer insights, and web conversion. The scoreboard is lead volume, cost per lead, cost per appointment issued, return on ad spend, and marketing-sourced revenue against plan. Accountability does not stop at the lead; the VP shares ownership of appointments set and sold revenue with Inside Sales and Sales. This is a player-coach role for a performance-first operator who can set strategy but also audit a media account, and who wants to build the playbooks that carry Veridian into new brands and new markets.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in demand generation, growth, or performance marketing, with 5+ years leading teams and budgets.
  • Home services, consumer services, or multi-location business experience required.
  • Experience operating in a private equity backed environment required.
  • Proven record of hitting lead and revenue targets across multiple markets, including through media agencies and vendors.
  • Deep fluency in paid media, attribution, and web conversion. Comfortable in the data: can pull the numbers, question them, and act on them.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lead plan for every brand and market: volume, cost per lead, cost per sold job, and marketing-sourced revenue against plan.
  • Report performance weekly with a clear read on what is working, what is not, and what changes as a result.
  • Own the full marketing budget across brands, markets, and channels. Reallocate based on performance, seasonality, and market-level demand, and defend every dollar with a return.
  • Hold agencies and vendors to clear performance targets.
  • Own research and segmentation, and turn it into messaging, offers, channel mix, and market entry decisions.
  • Direct brand and creative as an acquisition lever, measured by click-through rate, conversion rate, and cost per lead.
  • Own website and landing page conversion performance, not just brand consistency.
  • Oversee canvassing, referral programs, events, partnerships, and local PR, and build market entry playbooks that generate lead flow from day one in new brands and markets.
  • Lead and develop three directors and their teams on clear targets and operating rhythms. Run the function on a scoreboard, not activity.
  • Partner with Growth Analytics on measurement and attribution, and work daily with Inside Sales and Sales on speed to lead, lead quality, and funnel conversion.
