About The Position

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for developing and leading Dagne Dover's integrated marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. This role oversees all marketing functions and ensures a consistent, compelling brand experience across every customer touchpoint. This is a strategic, hands-on player-coach role in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. The Vice President will lead a small team while balancing long-term vision with day-to-day execution, partnering cross-functionally to drive business growth and build the brand.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within consumer, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or retail brands.
  • Proven success leading both brand marketing and performance marketing.
  • Experience growing omnichannel consumer brands, preferably direct-to-consumer.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and retail marketing.
  • Demonstrated success developing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Passion for building brands, developing teams, and creating meaningful consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall marketing vision and annual strategic plan.
  • Champion and evolve Dagne Dover's brand positioning across every consumer touchpoint.
  • Ensure consistency across campaigns, content, product launches, retail, PR, partnerships, and customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Product, Creative, Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Wholesale teams to develop integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Partner with Merchandising to identify growth opportunities across product categories.
  • Own customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value strategies.
  • Oversee paid media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, organic social, and emerging acquisition channels.
  • Optimize marketing investment based on business performance and return on investment.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through partnerships, collaborations, and emerging marketing channels.
  • Lead integrated campaign development from concept through execution.
  • Ensure creative excellence across photography, video, digital experiences, retail assets, packaging, and brand storytelling.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee PR, earned media, influencer strategy, celebrity gifting, brand collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop programs that increase cultural relevance, awareness, and brand affinity.
  • Own key marketing KPIs, including revenue contribution, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, traffic, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Use consumer insights and performance data to inform strategic decisions and optimize results.
  • Regularly communicate business performance, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team of four direct reports.
  • Create clear priorities, accountability, and alignment across functions.
  • Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with a bias toward action and continuous learning.
