About The Position

We’re looking for a VP of Logistics to own and elevate the operations that get Good Culture's product to our retail and distribution partners reliably as we scale. This leadership role will oversee customer service and order operations, inventory management, our logistics network and its ongoing optimization, and S&OP process that aligned demand, supply chain, and finance. Reporting to the COO, this leader will drive service excellence, inventory health, and cost discipline while building and leading a team of 4 direct reports through a period of rapid growth.

Requirements

12-15+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, and operations leadership experience within food & beverage manufacturing, including senior roles owning multiple functions
proven experience owning S&OP, customer service/order operations, and finished goods inventory management, ideally within a cold chain or perishable/dairy environment
track record building and scaling logistics networks (warehousing, transportation, 3PL) in a high-growth environment, with demonstrated network optimization and cost-to-serve wins
experience managing managers — building, developing, and retaining a multi-function leadership team
strong executive presence and cross-functional influence; comfortable partnering with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and the executive team
strong analytical and financial acumen — comfortable owning budget, KPIs, and P&L-adjacent metrics for the function
experience scaling systems, processes, and teams through periods of rapid growth, ideally in a PE-backed or similarly fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end customer service and order operations — order accuracy, on-time delivery, and issue resolution — for our retail and distributor partners
Build and scale customer service processes and systems that keep pace with rapid growth and an expanding customer base
Own finished goods inventory strategy — targets, safety stock, aging, and write-off management — balancing service levels against working capital
Partner with manufacturing, planning, and finance to keep inventory health and cash flow aligned across a fast-growing SKU portfolio
Own the end-to-end logistics network — warehousing, transportation, and distribution — across a cold chain, dairy-focused footprint
Continuously evaluate and optimize network design (DC footprint, carrier mix, routing) to reduce cost-to-serve while protecting service levels
Manage 3PL and transportation provider relationships, holding partners accountable for service, performance, and cost
Support strategic network expansion and scaling initiatives as the business grows toward $1B+
Lead the S&OP process end-to-end, aligning demand, supply, and finance to drive forecast accuracy and production alignment
Build the operating rhythm, KPIs, and reporting that give the leadership team visibility into service levels, inventory health, and network performance
Build, lead, and develop a team across customer service, inventory planning, logistics/transportation, and S&OP
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and the executive team to balance customer needs, operational realities, and financial objectives
Represent logistics and supply chain operations on the extended leadership team, bringing an operational voice to company-wide strategic decisions
