About The Position

Disruptive Brands is an eCommerce growth partner focused on building and scaling category-leading CPG brands. They act as a growth partner, owning outcomes like revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition, retention, Amazon performance, TikTok Shop expansion, and digital strategy. They specialize in high-growth CPG brands in Sports Nutrition, Beverage, Health & Wellness, and Men’s Grooming, emphasizing speed, data-driven decisions, and execution. This role is a critical leadership hire, reporting to the CEO, and will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance across major digital growth channels including Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Paid Media, CRM, Merchandising, Analytics, CRO, and Profitability. The VP will work closely with the Co-Founders to shape company direction and build scalable systems, processes, and teams. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, excels at problem-solving, builds elite teams, and is willing to engage in detailed work to achieve results, functioning as a company builder rather than just a people manager.

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading high-growth eCommerce organizations.
  • Experience scaling consumer brands in Sports Nutrition, Beverage, Health & Wellness, Beauty, Personal Care, or adjacent CPG categories.
  • Demonstrated success scaling brands beyond $100M in annual revenue or leading multiple brands through similar growth.
  • Deep Shopify expertise.
  • Deep Amazon expertise.
  • Deep TikTok Shop expertise.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy.
  • Executive-level P&L ownership.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar advertising budgets.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, or private equity-backed companies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive leader responsible for all eCommerce growth initiatives.
  • Partner directly with the Co-Founders to establish company strategy and long-term vision.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Help shape company culture while maintaining exceptionally high performance standards.
  • Own the financial performance across all client engagements including Revenue Growth, Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, EBITDA, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), MER, ROAS, Amazon TACoS, and Inventory Efficiency.
  • Lead every aspect of Shopify growth including customer acquisition, website optimization, Conversion Rate Optimization, Merchandising, Pricing strategy, Product launches, Offer strategy, Bundling, Subscription growth, Landing pages, Customer experience, and Checkout optimization.
  • Own Amazon as a business, including Vendor Central & Seller Central, P&L Management, Catalog Optimization, SEO, Advertising Strategy, DSP, Inventory Planning, Pricing, Promotions, New Product Launches, and Forecasting.
  • Lead TikTok Shop growth, including Affiliate Strategy, Creator Partnerships, Live Selling, Promotional Calendars, Shop Optimization, Content Strategy, Attribution, and Profitability.
  • Partner with media teams to oversee Paid Media across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon Advertising, and Emerging Growth Channels, understanding media at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Own customer lifetime value through Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, Loyalty Programs, Subscription Growth, Lifecycle Marketing, Segmentation, Customer Journeys, and Win-back Campaigns.
  • Partner with clients to rationalize product portfolios, optimize assortment, improve pricing strategy, maximize contribution margin, improve inventory turns, and launch successful new products.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that drive every business decision, understanding key metrics like CAC, LTV, AOV, MER, ROAS, CVR, Repeat Purchase Rate, Contribution Margin, EBITDA, Inventory Turns, and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain talent to build one of the strongest eCommerce organizations.
  • Become the executive growth partner for clients, leading Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Planning, Executive Strategy Sessions, Growth Roadmaps, and Performance Reviews.
