This role strengthens Shaw Industries’ commercial flooring brand presence across Latin America by leading strategic/global account relationships and serving as the bridge between U.S.-based account stakeholders, aligned dealer partners, and local end-users. The VPSA is accountable for protecting and expanding existing business while driving gross margin and volume growth through disciplined account planning, opportunity mapping, and field execution for corporate workplace and similar end-user accounts. The role is home-based (U.S. strongly preferred; Miami/Atlanta ideal), with flexibility for select Latin American locations such as Chile or Brazil, and requires regular travel across Latin America and the Caribbean to build coverage, maintain dealer engagement, and advance priority pursuits.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of commercial interiors industry experience working with Architectural Design Firms, product distribution channels and Multinational Companies.
  • Selling experience with sales performance growth history.
  • Leadership and lateral influence skills are necessary.
  • Ability to travel throughout Latin America.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Comfortable presenting to dealer partners, A&D audiences, and end-users; able to adapt style across executive boardroom and field environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups; coachable with an inclusive, servant-leadership approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal college level education preferred.
  • Experience in a role managing Global Accounts / Strategic Accounts within Latin America, including coordination with U.S.-based global account stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build “multiplier” networks through distribution/dealer partners and internal account teams to expand reach in-market.
  • Background in commercial interiors categories such as flooring, furniture, walls, acoustics, or related solutions sold through A&D and dealer/importer channels.
  • Track record supporting large pursuits (RFPs, contracts, strategic agreements) and translating opportunity into dealer + end-user execution.
  • Location flexibility: U.S.-based strongly preferred (Miami ideal), with openness to Brazil or Chile; other Latin America locations may be considered.
  • Adaptable communication skills and executive presence: resilient, culturally fluent, and able to earn credibility quickly with a variety of audiences through C-level.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strengthening of the Shaw Industries Commercial Brand (Shaw Contract and Patcraft) presence throughout Latin America.
  • Coordinate sales planning, account management, and business development with Latin American, International Global Accounts, and Sales Management Teams to leverage our opportunity with these accounts.
  • Communicate and coordinate all activities related to Global and Strategic accounts with Commercial Account Executives, Global VPSAs, aligned dealers, and Marketing Management across all brands.
  • Establish new Global and Strategic Accounts; expand and protect existing relationships and realize full potential with current Global & Strategic Accounts.
  • Research and map current and new Global & Strategic Accounts; serve as the communication conduit for Global & Strategic Accounts across the company.
  • Act as a catalyst and multiplier for non-hospitality selling segments for Shaw Industries (e.g., corporate workplace, healthcare, retail, etc.).
  • Establish relationships, communication, and engagement with sales management and salespeople across all brands, ensuring consistent alignment between U.S. account leadership, local dealers, and end-users.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and training with our aligned dealers; serve as an educator to dealer partners and internal teams on product launches, positioning, and market opportunities.
  • Utilize sales automation tools and processes to track projects ordered directly from Shaw as well as from local service providers in the market.
  • Be involved with RFPs, contracts, and agreements strategically.
  • Travel throughout Latin America to build relationships and market coverage; maintain consistent engagement rhythms with aligned dealer partners (e.g., regular monthly/bi-monthly touchpoints) and share actionable market intelligence back to leadership.
