VP of Engineering

Aspire, a leading provider of influencer marketing software and services, is seeking a VP of Engineering to join their distributed remote team. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for leading and growing a global and remote engineering team, shaping the technology to support hyper-growth, and instilling a product engineering and dev ops culture. This role will report to the CTO, collaborate cross-functionally, and play a major role in guiding product roadmaps and strategy. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced and values-driven environment, and has a strong background in software engineering and management.

• Align closely with product, design, customer success, and support leadership to ensure that engineering is working to drive results across the business
• Define the overall strategy and objectives for the Engineering team, focused on creating a best-in-class product, architecture, and development team
• Ingrain Aspire company values and leadership principles into the day-to-day work environment for the engineering team
• Promote a product-centric mindset company-wide and act as a champion for technical best practices
• Develop and codify roadmaps and technical strategies that are routed in established performance metrics
• Collaborate with teams such as Product, Design, and Leadership to deploy strategies that provide technical advances, reduce tech debt, and make significant improvements to our platform

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 6+ years of management experience
• Proven leadership ability in complex strategic projects with multiple stakeholders
