Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our remote Engineering team at Aspire. As a recognized leader in influencer marketing software and services, we work with top brands to build and manage relationships with millions of influencers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead large-scale features and projects on our web applications, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the technical and product strategy of the company. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in software application development, expertise in building web applications with NodeJS and relational databases, and a passion for driving engineering best practices.

• Leading solutions for difficult problems and focusing on major projects for the platform and applications
• Setting standards and driving engineering best practices for development and operational excellence
• Improving testing and monitoring for the team's systems to ensure reliable products
• Influencing the team's technical strategy, software architecture, and product strategy
• Implementing features and functionality that require database design and optimization
• Managing and documenting APIs and interfaces to facilitate team collaboration and development
• Building software applications with expertise in NodeJS and relational databases
• Collaborating and mentoring as a true team player
• Demonstrating deep experience in scalable architecture, software design patterns, and reliable and scalable system design
• Bonus points for experience in building systems for data interaction and insights, developing APIs for third-party applications, scaling robust systems for data ingestion and combination, and interest in marketing, social media, e-commerce, or ph.

• 5+ years experience building software applications
• Highly motivated to build and improve products, even in a remote environment
• Expertise with building web applications with NodeJS and relational databases
