About The Position

Search Atlas is an agentic marketing platform combining SEO, content, site management, and AI-powered automation into a single system. The company has $30M+ ARR, 215 employees, and thousands of active customers. They are category creators defining "agentic marketing" as the next evolution beyond traditional marketing automation, bootstrapped to profitability, and raising their first institutional round. It is founder-led with strong personal brands and a thriving community ecosystem. The company is hiring its first-ever VP of Brand, which is described as the most important marketing hire for their next chapter. This role is not just about aesthetics but about defining how the market perceives an entirely new category. The VP of Brand will be the architect of the brand narrative, the creative force behind the founders' personal brands, and the leader responsible for building and scaling social, video, PR, and creative teams. The role reports directly to the co-founders, inherits an existing team, and comes with the budget and authority to restructure and hire as deemed appropriate.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in marketing, 5+ years leading a brand team at a fast-growing tech company
  • Has built or fundamentally transformed a brand — not just maintained one
  • Managed teams of 10+ across creative, content, social, and/or communications
  • Has worked closely with founders or C-suite on thought leadership and personal brand
  • Has helped define or launch a new market category with evidence the market adopted it
  • Has owned performance marketing metrics and reported on them to leadership
  • A genuine AI power user applying it to real marketing workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or marketing technology
  • Hands-on experience with paid social creative
  • Experience building events, pop-ups, or experiential marketing programs
  • Familiarity with AI tools for design and creative production
  • Has built an influencer or ambassador program from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Develop the narrative, vocabulary, and positioning that makes "agentic marketing" a term the industry recognizes and associates with Search Atlas. Own the "Point of View" engine: original research, proprietary reports, manifestos, and thought leadership that establish Search Atlas as the defining voice in this space.
  • Develop and execute personal brand strategies for Manick Bhan and Sophia Deluz-Bhan. Build a full content system — editorial calendars, recurring formats, ghostwriting support, video pipelines, and feedback loops that compound reach over time.
  • Lead and grow the Brand & Social pillar: social media, video, long-form editorial, digital PR, creative direction, and platform-specific strategy. Set a high bar for creative output — work that stops people, gets shared, and makes anyone who sees it think "this is a really cool brand." Evaluate, restructure, and hire to build the team the right way.
  • Own the strategy and infrastructure behind a constant pipeline of video content — brand films, product launches, founder content, ad creative, and social-first formats. Know how to produce high-quality output efficiently and build systems that scale.
  • Own the performance metrics behind every brand initiative. Define what success looks like, build dashboards that track it, and hold the team accountable to outcomes, not just output. Connect creative decisions to measurable business impact: audience growth, share of voice, pipeline influence, and conversion contribution.
  • Own the Search Atlas brand identity, voice, and visual language across every touchpoint — product, website, social, events, sales, and community. Work cross-functionally with product and design to embed brand consistency into the product experience itself. Build and steward an influencer ecosystem that brings the top voices in marketing into the Search Atlas orbit through events, co-branded content, and branded experiences.
