About The Position

The Vice President, Global People Strategy Partners will lead the global People Strategy Partners (strategic HR Business Partner) function, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and aligning people strategies with business priorities across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and leadership capability at scale. Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this role partners closely with executive leaders across all business functions, HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Culture & Belonging, etc), and cross‑functional stakeholders. The VP will ensure a consistent, high‑impact people partnership model globally while responding to the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the global People Strategy Partners model, ensuring alignment to business strategy, growth priorities, and organizational maturity
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness
  • Partner closely with Talent Management, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end people solutions
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives including change management, team effectiveness, and culture transformation
  • Leverage workforce insights and people data to inform decision‑making and proactively address business challenges
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and governance while balancing local market considerations
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing global team of People Strategy Partners, building strong consulting, influence, and business acumen capabilities
  • Act as a steward of Proofpoint’s culture, values, and leadership expectations throughout the organization
