The Provider Market Territory Leader is responsible for leading the Optum Insight business within a specific U.S. territory in the Central Market region. This role involves leading an account management team, developing and executing strategic and commercial plans to achieve significant growth and profitability in delivering Provider solutions. The leader is accountable for financial and customer outcomes across their geographical region, working with customers, partners, and internal teams across Optum to meet customer commitments and drive profitable growth of the Provider portfolio. Collaboration with teams across Optum Insight, Optum Health, and Optum RX is expected to align on customer plans and priorities. The role requires strong leadership competencies, including strategic account planning, executive engagement, operational excellence, market advocacy, business scaling, matrixed environment navigation, and cross-divisional collaboration. A passion for client excellence, delivery, and new business opportunity identification is essential. The successful candidate must excel in a fast-paced environment, possess stellar executive presence with C-Suite executives, and demonstrate the ability to influence within Optum through strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. An in-depth understanding of health systems and the provider market, critical thinking, success in driving complex territory and account plans, strong organizational skills, agility, and effective communication are key requirements.
