About The Position

The Vice President, Global Delivery Operations is a senior executive role responsible for defining, leading, and executing MiniMed’s end‑to‑end global delivery, distribution, logistics, transportation, and trade operations strategy. This role provides enterprise leadership and governance across a highly complex, global distribution network, ensuring reliable product delivery to patients and customers while balancing speed, compliance, cost, risk, and scalability. The VP serves as the single point of accountability for global delivery performance and capability build‑out, working in close partnership with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, Finance, Trade Compliance, and regional leadership. The role is both strategic and hands‑on, accountable for standing up new capabilities, scaling global operations, exiting TSAs, and embedding a standardized, resilient, and patient‑first delivery model globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 18+ years experience as a senior executive leading global distribution, delivery, or supply chain operations and 15+ years managerial experience OR Advanced Degree and 15+ years experience as a senior executive leading global distribution, delivery, or supply chain operations and 15+ years managerial experience

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global delivery operations strategy, including warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, and trade operations.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and patient needs into a scalable, asset‑light, and resilient global delivery model.
  • Serve as the executive leader for delivery network design, capability stand‑up, and long‑term optimization.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end accountability for global delivery performance, service levels, and KPIs across all regions.
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, governance, and performance management.
  • Balance global standardization with regional execution, enabling flexibility where required by local regulations and market realities.
  • Lead the stand‑up of new distribution centers and logistics capabilities globally, including rapid deployment in parallel across regions.
  • Own and execute TSA exit strategies related to distribution, logistics, trade, and transportation.
  • Ensure delivery readiness for new product launches, market expansions, and business model changes.
  • Provide executive oversight for global trade operations, including import/export compliance, customs, tariffs, and duty optimization.
  • Partner closely with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance to ensure GDP, ISO, trade, and country‑specific compliance.
  • Proactively manage geopolitical, supply chain, and operational risk, embedding business continuity and contingency planning.
  • Establish centralized ownership of global freight strategy and carrier management.
  • Optimize network flow, lane strategies, and control tower capabilities to improve visibility, responsiveness, and cost control.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost savings through data, systems, and operational discipline.
  • Provide executive sponsorship for Global Delivery Ops PMO, ensuring disciplined execution of strategic programs.
  • Drive standardization of systems, tools, master data, and operating frameworks globally.
  • Build a repeatable, future‑ready delivery model that supports growth and scale.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing global leadership team across regions and functions.
  • Act as a key partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Quality, Trade, HR, and regional leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient‑first execution.
