As the Finance & Business Operations Leader, you will be a key member of the Zapier leadership team, leading our Finance and Business Operations (BizOps) functions. You will partner with the CFO, executive team, and board members to drive financial health, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a data-driven leader who thrives in high-growth, SaaS environments and enjoys leading teams that provide financial insights and business solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or corporate strategy, with leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and corporate finance.
  • Proven track record of leading Finance & BizOps teams and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Experience with SaaS financial metrics, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency in software businesses.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fundraising, M&A, and managing investor relations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Provide data-driven insights and scenario modeling to influence executive decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders to align financial strategy with company goals.
  • Oversee investment planning, capital allocation, and corporate finance initiatives, including pricing and international expansion strategies.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Guide financial due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Manage relationships with investors, external auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Lead the Business Operations (BizOps) team, ensuring alignment with finance and corporate strategy.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards to track business performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to enhance financial efficiency and operational scalability.
  • Drive process automation and financial systems improvements to support a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the Finance & BizOps teams, ensuring alignment with company growth.
  • Recruit and develop top talent in finance, accounting, and business operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and financial discipline.
