About The Position

The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for leading and executing a unified procurement strategy across all business units at Premier. This role ensures alignment of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with enterprise priorities, driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation. This role operates as an enterprise integrator, partnering across all business segments to standardize procurement practices and maximize Premier’s scale and supplier relationships. This role will be responsible for driving measurable value creation (cost savings, efficiency, risk mitigation). This role will report directly to the CFO.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of applicable experience
  • Bachelors degree (Required)
  • Uncompromised commitment to operate in an ethical and compliant manner
  • Ability to build relationships to partner with the business and work with various levels of internal and external constituencies, such as top leaders and key external partners
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Superior communication skills, including verbal, oral and through presentations
  • Results and continuous improvement-oriented; ability to anticipate and plan, to drive policy and process initiatives and lead changes with a strategic global mindset
  • High quality threshold with ability to understand details and formalize executive-level summarization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach to solutioning and collaborative resolution; strong follow-through
  • Adept at leveraging technology and analytics to improve internal audit effectiveness
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment with multiple, changing, and competing priorities
  • Strong team orientation, and ability to fit in with Premier’s culture
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related function
  • Demonstrated vendor/partner negotiation experience and measurable cost savings
  • Proven Experience on the execution of a centralized procurement transformation
  • Change management experience
