The Opportunity Overview section of this job description describes a leadership role within the technology group at Cohere Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating data engineering, data management, data science, and machine learning teams, fostering greater cohesion between the functions, and expanding their capacity and capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master's degree in quantitative science or data engineering, at least 10 years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, and at least 5 years of experience with healthcare or payer technology.

• Lead the data engineering, data management, data science, and machine learning teams

• PhD or Master's degree in quantitative science or data engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong experience with iterative delivery methodologies such as Agile or Scrum applied to data science or machine learning teams
• Familiarity with R, Python, PyTorch, MLFLow, Spark, cluster technologies such as Kubernetes and EMR
• At least 5 years experience with healthcare or payer technology
• Proven track record of building and leading teams in a high growth environment.
