Join our TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More. We are looking for a VP & CMS Officer III to join our CMS team at Open Bank! The VP & CMS Officer III will be responsible for supporting the daily operations workflow and branch support to maintain system integrity, compliance requirements, and client satisfaction with minimal supervision. Also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers while providing exemplary customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in banking required.
  • General knowledge of operations regulations, banking laws, and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external clients with cash management products and online/mobile banking products.
  • Supervise daily review of eWires, ACH, merchant capture activities, as deemed necessary to daily department operations and review for fraud or suspicious activity.
  • Review cash management applications and other documents for approval or denial of cash management services.
  • Review new accounts opened through Online Account Opening portal and ensure documents have been reviewed prior to opening the account.
  • Perform quality control of Account Analysis ensuring monthly files are uploaded to XAA and statements are generated accurately and timely.
  • Participate in testing new products and services and provide timely feedback on gaps, performance findings and overall user experience.
  • Manage timely completion of time sensitive reporting to regulatory agencies and internal departments (compliance, internal and external audits, management committee, etc.).
  • Perform periodic cash management services risk assessment and cost benefit analysis as applicable.
  • Expand and retain business clients by identifying needs and providing solutions.
  • Assist CMS Manager in providing guidance and direction to team members and serve as a first point of contact for escalation support for clients and team members.
  • Ability to effectively lead or participate in a meeting and/or project assignment.
  • Onboard, cross train and effectively coach new and existing team members.
  • Assist with developing, communicating and executing the Bank’s digital strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to position Cash Management Services early and often to identify new leads and cross sells for existing clients.
  • Answer calls timely and reinforce superior client service through his/her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved clients and employees.
  • Provide and maintain operations security and security specs for branch and CMS personnel and system changes, providing recommendations to the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain current on compliance requirements and assist in training branch staff.
  • Assists all branch offices in resolving operational and system inquiries and providing staff support.
