About The Position

The Vice President, Client Executive, Department of War directs SAIC’s overarching customer relationship, long-term strategic positioning, and growth agenda across key warfighting accounts. Leveraging a distinguished career of senior operational command and flag-level leadership, this executive connects SAIC’s enterprise capabilities (including digital engineering, software integration, secure cloud, and mission analytics) with senior defense decision-makers to shape requirements, maximize contract vehicle utilization, and ensure our solutions directly solve critical warfighter challenges.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain trusted, peer-to-peer relationships with general officers, Combatant Commanders, and senior acquisition executives across the Department of War.
  • Act as the strategic "Voice of the Customer," bringing honest customer feedback regarding our program execution back to business group leadership to protect and enhance our reputation.
  • Strengthen SAIC’s market authority by spearheading targeted white papers, executive roundtables, and high-impact demonstrations of SAIC's core technologies and mission solutions.
  • Capitalize on deep domain expertise in fires, joint targeting, and air defense to align SAIC’s digital modernization capabilities with service-wide modernization commands and doctrine centers.
  • Position SAIC’s command and control software integration, automated sensor-to-shooter data pipelines, and other SAIC capabilities to capture major multi-domain command and control and cross-domain integration programs.
  • Leverage operational command experience to guide SAIC’s growth across theater-level Service and Joint commands and regional allied partnerships.
  • Shape multi-year pursuits around SAIC’s expeditionary mission systems, resilient edge networking, secure tactical communications, and contested logistics architectures tailored to distributed theater operations.
  • Utilize command experience across domestic operations and joint structures to position SAIC's secure multi-cloud environments, Zero Trust architectures, and enterprise digital infrastructure.
  • Expand our footprint across theater-level command consolidation, crisis response operations, and defense support of civil authorities by showcasing SAIC's systems integration and secure data federation capabilities.
  • Proactively uncover adjacent customer requirements and mission gaps within active programs, driving ceiling utilization on key IDIQ contract vehicles.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Operations to convert on-contract successes into expanded task order wins and long-term recompete security.
