About The Position

The Volunteer role supports the YMCA’s community programs, events, members, and day-to-day operations. Volunteers receive support from a dedicated team and have opportunities to learn and grow while contributing to a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening the community. Training is provided if applicable. Clearances and training are required for volunteers assisting with YMCA programs and operations. Volunteers interested only in River Crossing YMCA one-day special events, such as the Bucks County 5K or Kids Triathlon, do not need clearances or training; they are asked to email [email protected] after completing an application.

Requirements

• Must have completed 6th grade.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.
• Dependability and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass required clearances for applicable volunteer work.
• No prior experience is required; training is provided if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support events and community programs.
• Assist staff with day-to-day operations.
• Provide direct support to members.
• Help with outreach, fundraising, or administrative tasks.
