About The Position

River Crossing YMCA is seeking passionate, reliable volunteers in the Slate Belt area to support its community programs and operations. Volunteers may assist with events, staff operations, member support, outreach, fundraising, and administrative tasks. Volunteers receive support from the team and opportunities to learn and grow while contributing to a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening the community.

Volunteers must have completed 6th grade, have a positive attitude, be dependable, communicate well, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. No prior experience is required; training is provided if applicable. Required clearances and training apply to volunteers assisting with YMCA programs and operations. They are not required for people volunteering only at River Crossing YMCA one-day special events, such as the Bucks County 5K or Kids Triathlon; those interested in one-day events are asked to email [email protected] after applying.

Requirements

• Must have completed 6th grade.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.
• Dependable with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass required clearances.
• Clearances and training are required for volunteers assisting with YMCA programs and operations; they are not required for volunteers participating only in one-day special events.
