About The Position

The Volunteer provides time, talent and leadership to carry out the mission of Family & Community Services at the Skeels-Mathews Community Center. Responsibilities are dependent upon the program assignment and may include a variety of tasks such as receptionist duties, meal preparation and serving, cleaning, stocking food pantries, painting, assisting with donations and special events, representing the organization at events, mentoring children, providing entertainment, and teaching crafts, skills, or financial literacy.

Requirements

• Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
• Work as an effective team member.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
• Customer service experience either through employment or volunteer services if applicable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs if applicable.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
• Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation) if applicable.
