Volunteer Coordinator (Hospice) - Full Time- Oakdale

About The Position
The Volunteer Coordinator is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating volunteers who serve patients and families, as well as supporting the program as a whole. The coordinator teaches and models the agency’s concepts of care to volunteers and the community, keeping the philosophy underlying the agency’s approach to care in mind.
Requirements
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must have a warm, people-oriented personality.
- Must have experience in a management or supervision position.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must have a current Texas driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a clean background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice is preferred.
