This position is responsible for managing volunteer and staff bell-ringing activities for Red Kettles, as well as community outreach activities with Collier County schools and other organizations. It involves identifying and maintaining a list of volunteer opportunities, recruiting, training, coordinating, and monitoring volunteers, and preparing records and reports. The role also oversees, plans, and coordinates special events under the direction of the Director of Development, and provides administrative detail and online record-keeping for all special events and volunteer activities. The position requires a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, and an outgoing, detail-oriented, event-planning professional who can build relationships with vendors, the community, and donors, with an awareness of the Development Department’s overall fundraising goals.
