About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part-time in person at Music and Dance Academy in Tucson, Arizona. The position is for Wednesday afternoons and evenings, with the potential for additional hours depending on the selected teacher’s availability. Teachers may set their availability within the school’s open hours; consistent availability is appreciated, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. The instructor will teach voice to students and should be comfortable working with students ages 5 and older across a variety of musical styles and genres. Basic piano skills are needed to accompany students during lessons. The successful candidate will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Pay is $25–$27 per hour, commensurate with experience. Health benefits options and a 401(k) with employer match are available to part- and full-time Ensemble employees after 30 days of employment. Requirements

Experience teaching voice to students ages 5 and older.
Comfort teaching a variety of musical styles and genres.
Basic piano skills and ability to accompany students in lessons.
A degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience.
Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
Punctuality and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a routine background check.
