About The Position
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a full-time Vocational Employment Specialist to join the PROS program in Copiague, NY. In this role, you will provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions to assist members in growth and recovery. Responsible for engaging members in employment. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Complete all required documentation within a 48-hour period and complies with program and OMH regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of one year training and/or experience in job finding, employment, counseling or vocational rehabilitation.
- Valid and clean NYS Drivers License.
- Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions to assist members in growth and recovery.
- Engage members in employment.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Complete all required documentation within a 48-hour period.
- Comply with program and OMH regulations.
