The mission of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is "to help people with disabilities find and maintain employment and enhance their independence." This position involves assisting Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors in providing services to eligible individuals with disabilities, focusing on the coordination of customer activities or special projects in compliance with Federal and State requirements. The role primarily provides administrative support and technical assistance to a Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) unit and its customers. The employee is expected to be productive under tight timeframes, manage multiple priorities, maintain goal-directed behavior, and perform sometimes under stressful conditions. Interaction with others must be courteous, and performance should consider the workload of others to avoid negatively affecting productivity and morale. Attendance is an essential function of this position.
