About The Position

Omega Health Services is seeking an energetic, independent, and mission-driven Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist (VRS) to join their team. This role focuses on making a real impact in the Keyser community by helping individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, veterans, and those facing unique economic challenges secure competitive employment and long-term self-sufficiency. The VRS will act as a bridge between ambition and achievement, working directly with clients and local businesses to foster inclusive employment opportunities. This is a mobile, field-based role with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree + 1 year of relevant work experience OR High School Diploma / GED + 2 years of relevant work/life experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Asana.
A valid Driver’s License, reliable personal transportation, and proper insurance coverage.
Ability to pass a standard drug screen and comprehensive background check (Federal, State, and County).
First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained upon employment).

Nice To Haves

3 years of General Education or Tutoring experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support individuals in identifying and achieving their career goals, from the initial job search to future advancement.
Deliver hands-on assistance during new hire screenings, corporate orientations, and the crucial early weeks of employment.
Identify and implement assistive technologies and reasonable workplace accommodations to guarantee clients' success.
Facilitate positive social connections between clients, coworkers, and supervisors to cultivate an independent workplace culture.
Log daily service updates via OHS software and ensure weekly Person-Centered Planning (PCP/IEP) metrics are met.
Provide safe community or employment transportation to participants using personal or agency vehicles (fully reimbursed).
