About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a music educator to teach voice lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; coordinating with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage retention; and sharing musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The stated pay rate is $15.92 per hour for non-teaching work, plus a teaching rate of $11–$22 per hour depending on background and experience. Pay may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors. Musician employees may use gig leave to take time off to perform and return to their jobs afterward.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
