About The Position

The VMS Solutions Manager serves as a subject matter expert and consultant on Vendor Management System (VMS) platforms, guiding Sales, Operations, and Implementation teams in designing and delivering effective solutions within multi-supplier VMS programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), MSP programs, or workforce operations (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, Magnit).
  • Experience working with large data sets and financial or operational reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage operational processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams, MSP partners, and clients.
  • Customer service mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the VMS subject matter expert, advising Sales, Operations, and Implementation teams on how the VMS platforms function across requisition management, supplier distribution, compliance workflows, and reporting.
  • Partner directly with Sales during the pre-sales process to evaluate client VMS environments, translate technical VMS requirements into Employbridge delivery solutions, and help position EB’s operating model, technology stack, and differentiation within multi-supplier VMS programs.
  • Lead VMS solution design and integration strategy, including coordination across client VMS systems, client time and attendance tools (timeclocks), Employbridge front office systems, and downstream data and reporting requirements in partnership with Business Operations Team.
  • Support implementation and go-live execution, working alongside clients, VMS providers, and internal EB teams to ensure accurate configuration, supplier onboarding, workflow alignment, and successful launch within VMS environments.
  • Act as an internal consultant and escalation resource, providing ongoing guidance to Sales and Operations teams on VMS functionality, supplier management strategies, order distribution logic, rate card structures, and performance optimization inside VMS programs.
  • Practical experience with multiple VMS platforms required, ex: Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, Magnit, etc.
