About The Position

As a Visualization and Performance Software Developer Co-op, you will help our software team develop intuitive, user-friendly software for the Globe® Mapping and Ablation System and participate in software engineering support practices. In addition, you will expand your programming skills and learn about software development in a regulated environment. This opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

Practical knowledge of an object-oriented language such as C++, Java or C#
Previous programming experience in a co-op or other work placement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Well-developed written and verbal technical communication skills
Enthusiasm and the ability to succeed in self-guided and team settings

Responsibilities

Prototyping new and alternative technologies
Profiling and measuring application performance
Developing tools for data visualization and developer investigations
Collaborating with developers and internal customers to improve existing tools
