About The Position

Responsible for developing category merchandising strategies through cross-functional collaboration that drive productivity and sales.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
3 Years Experience in retail store planning and design (may be a combination of visual merchandising, store planning, planogramming, real estate & facilities planning, or store environment experiences)
High degree of proficiency in category planning software, Lowe’s internal systems & processes. (systems & analytics expert)

Responsibilities

Providing merchandising analysis that support the development of detailed category plans & strategies for upcoming category space changes and company initiatives.
Timely delivery of clear, concise space planning design documents that communicate merchandising strategy & category specific details.
Creation and timely delivery of merchandising plans to support company initiatives and deliver on documented strategy.
Delivery of space productivity analysis in support of the merchandising strategy.
Delivering advanced analysis in developing a customer-centric approach to merchandising plans.
Shaping strategic direction using analytical tools; consistently identifies category opportunities to optimize productivity.
Using problem solving skills, mitigates risk & improves program delivery to stores.
Leading process improvement efforts; makes recommendations to optimize workflow efficiencies.
Collaborating & communicating well across all s of the organization; cultivates vendor partnerships that support corporate strategies.
Demonstrating thought leadership on evolving concepts & business needs.
Exhibiting team leadership amongst contract & Lowe’s Bangalore Support Center associates & influences engagement.
