About The Position

The Visual Merchandiser presents fashion trends through creative, eye-catching displays. The role builds and maintains knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends; partners with department managers to uphold, teach, and maintain visual standards; and supports merchandising, signing, and implementation of visual direction, customizing it as appropriate for the store. The position also installs and removes trim and window presentations for promotional events and supports execution of the in-store lighting program. Hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs.

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools.
• Computer proficiency and comfort learning new computer applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.

Nice To Haves

• Basic construction skills in building and assembling visual props.
