About The Position
The Visual Merchandiser presents current fashion trends through creative, eye-catching visual displays. The role builds knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and trends, partners with department managers to uphold and teach visual standards, and supports merchandising, signage, and implementation of direction. The position also installs and removes promotional trim and window presentations and supports execution of the in-store lighting program. Hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools.
- Computer proficiency and comfort learning new computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.
Nice To Haves
- Basic construction skills in building and assembling visual props.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends.
- Partner with department managers to uphold, teach, and maintain visual standards.
- Support merchandising, signing, and implementation of direction at a high level, customizing as appropriate for the store.
- Install and remove trim and window presentations for store promotional events.
- Support successful execution of the in-store lighting program.
