About The Position

The Visual Merchandiser creates eye-catching store presentations that showcase current fashion trends. The role maintains visual merchandising knowledge and standards, supports merchandising and promotional implementations, and helps execute the in-store lighting program. Work hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs. The position is seasonal and pays $26.70–$27.80 per hour; actual offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Requirements

Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools.
Computer proficiency and comfort learning new computer applications.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.

Nice To Haves

Basic construction skills in building and assembling visual props.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends.
Partner with department managers to uphold, teach, and maintain visual standards.
Support merchandising, signing, and implementation of direction at the highest level, customizing as appropriate to the store.
Install and remove trim and window presentations for store promotional events.
Support successful execution of the in-store lighting program.
