  • Ability to perform Kinetic, Humphrey, and Goldmann Visual Fields.
  • Ability to work well with patients requiring specific direction and lots of encouragement.
  • Ability to read a schedule and manage late arrivals/add-on fields.
  • Ability to obtain images for physician presentations.
  • Ability to coordinate maintenance of visual field equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to enter information/results into patient's electronic medical record.
  • Ability to follow government guidelines for medical record entry and coding.
  • Ability to maintain the physical environment of exam and procedure rooms.
  • Ability to clean, cover, and store equipment and instruments.
  • Ability to train/educate non-visual field associates on visual fields requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performance of Kinetic, Humphrey, and Goldmann Visual Fields, as ordered by the eye care provider.
  • Ability to work well with patients requiring specific direction and lots of encouragement.
  • Ability to read a schedule and know how to manage late arrivals/fitting in add-on fields if necessary.
  • Obtain images for physician presentations as necessary.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of visual field equipment and supplies necessary to ensure maximum utilize of schedules and equipment.
  • Enter information / results into the patient’s electronic medical record. Follow government guidelines for medical record entry and coding.
  • Maintains the physical environment of the exam and procedure rooms by cleaning and stocking daily and maintaining medications as needed.
  • Clean, cover, and store equipment and instruments at the end of the day.
  • Work with non-visual field associates to train / educate on the visual fields requirements and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
