About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven Visitor Experience Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service to every guest at Bardstown Bourbon Company. This role requires efficiency in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work in retail, and willingness to assist with tour setup, breakdown, and organization. A passion for hospitality and a strong work ethic are essential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; occasional sitting.
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Comfort working in fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures.
Ability to climb stairs while carrying trays of glassware.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival to the retail shop.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized retail space.
Operate the POS system accurately, process payments, and prepare daily deposits.
Notify management of low inventory and assist with monthly inventory counts.
Set up and reset classrooms and the Warehouse Tasting Room for tours.
Restock materials, glassware, and other supplies in all experience areas.
Follow tour prep procedures, including cleaning glassware, cocktail tools, and headsets.
Clear and reset tasting rooms after each event.
Learn and share Bardstown Bourbon Company’s distillery practices and products.
Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with all regulations.
Support the company’s ISO program for product quality and food safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
