About The Position

This internship focuses on Autonomous Thin Film Deposition, a crucial aspect of microelectronic research and manufacturing. The student will gain experience in material deposition and characterization at the nanoscale. The role involves hands-on measurements of material properties and the application of automated data analysis using Python. This project aims to advance towards autonomous experimentation by utilizing real-time deposition measurements to guide subsequent process steps.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
• Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
• Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
• The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.

• Experience with material deposition and characterization.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data analysis.
