About The Position

This is a visiting student position fully funded by the University of Houston as an external education plan for the ESRA (Energy Storage Research Alliance) 2026 UH Summer Internship with ESRA and Argonne National Laboratory. The role involves organic battery cathodes/electrolytes testing and characterization.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution, OR graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months, OR actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
• Some basic chemistry and chemical engineering knowledge.
• Ability to read literature and do fundamental research.
