About The Position

The Visiting Research Scholar will participate in ongoing research projects in the lab focusing on insect chemical ecology, specifically on the mechanisms and applications of plant-insect interactions. This role involves conducting lab, greenhouse, and field experimental work, analyzing data, and preparing reports and research manuscripts. The scholar will also be responsible for developing and submitting research proposals to funding agencies and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Entomology or related field

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Entomology or related field
  • Chemical ecology research skills and techniques.
  • Experience with chemical/molecular ecology techniques, biological control of insects, and/or field research.
