Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, Visiting Professor of Mathematics position. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus. Requirements

A PhD in Mathematics is preferred (master’s with 18+ graduate hours in math may be considered)
Higher level math teaching experience
Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools
A strong commitment to the University's mission to serve as a center of Christian thought and action, providing excellent education through a biblical perspective and global context, equipping Christian leaders to change the world.

A record of or potential for academic scholarship
The ability to teach undergraduate-level courses

Responsibilities

Teaching on campus and online during the spring semester of 2027.
Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that integrate mathematical theory with ethical and spiritual responsibility. Totaling 12 hours.
Courses that could include: College Algebra, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus II
Working with students during your office hours
Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
