About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Visiting Nurse to provide skilled, personalized in-home healthcare to patients in Macomb, Michigan. The nurse will promote patients’ health and well-being and collaborate with healthcare teams to support optimal outcomes. Interviews will take place at the company’s office in Livonia.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Macomb, Michigan.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health care or a related nursing field.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources to facilitate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
