Primary instructional duties include directing musical theatre productions, and applied voice and acting instruction. The position may also teach courses such as Introduction to Theatre, Special Topics in Theatre, and Singing Styles. Additional responsibilities include recruiting high-caliber students locally and regionally, cultivating productive partnerships with school and community theatre programs, and demonstrating a collaborative, collegial approach in working with faculty across departments to produce concerts and theatrical events that advance the University’s mission. This faculty appointment is for one academic year (9-month). Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner.
