About The Position

Teach undergraduate courses in Theatre and/or Dance as assigned by the department chair. Responsibilities include developing and submitting course syllabi, planning and updating curriculum, delivering engaging instruction, assessing student performance, and submitting grades in accordance with university deadlines. Regular communication with students, support departmental goals, and collaborate with faculty colleagues to foster a dynamic learning environment. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Requirements

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • At least an earned bachelor's degree in dance, theatre arts, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • An earned Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theatre or Dance.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching acting, playwriting, directing, or dance.
