The School of Social Work at The University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Visiting Instructor Position (multiple positions may be available) beginning August 3, 2026. The Visiting Instructor will function as an important part of the School of Social Work faculty by teaching courses in both the BSW and MSW programs. This position will support the School of Social Work by providing classroom instruction designed to prepare students to engage with clients who reside in the Gulf South region. Teaching assignments may be on the Hattiesburg and Long Beach campus. Both the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
